La Policía Nacional detuvo en Trujillo a dos agentes del orden por cobrar presuntamente una coima de S/ 200.

Detienen a dos policías por cobrar presuntamente una coima de S/ 200


Suboficiales detenidos trabajan para el Departamento de Protección de Carreteras de Simbal.

Two non-commissioned officers of the National Police, assigned to the Simbal Highway Protection Department, in the province of Trujillo, La Libertad region, were arrested by the Anti-Corruption Police for allegedly having received a bribe of 200 soles.

The agents were identified as SOB1 Aldrín Erwin Marchena Rodríguez (33) and SOB2 Donny Stewart Vigo Morales (41) . Both were detained  in the Santa Rosa Badén sector, kilometer 23 of the penetration road to the Liberta mountain range.

The police had seized a vehicle around 11:30 am , but the driver was missing a document and to let him pass they asked him to give them the sum of 500 soles, but he told them that he had to go to Trujillo to get the money. .

However, the driver filed a complaint and the Anti-Corruption Police set up the operation to capture the alleged bad agents. The driver contacted them again and gave them 200 soles, but realizing the presence of the other agents, Marchena and Vigo tried to flee.

Both are being investigated for the alleged commission of the crime against the public administration, in the form of passive bribery in the exercise of the police function to the detriment of the State .
